You & Me

This young duo, a brother and sister, had encountered difficult times. Their mother had passed away, and their father had taken a new wife who disliked his children and demanded they be cast out to survive on their own each night like animals. Yet, they shared this with me cheerfully, assuring me there was no need for concern because Ganesh was watching over them. Ganesh, the Hindu deity known as the remover of obstacles and protector, visited them in their dreams every night.
