My name is Matthew O'Toole
I’m a photographer.

I am the owner and proprietor of Adept Photography. I have a long history with photography. I began taking images from an young age and I always knew I wanted to be a professional photographer. I have travelled extensively with my camera – taking images from around the globe, capturing the diversity of environment, culture, religion and spirituality in the locations I visit. The focus of my work tends to be on sites of cultural, spiritual and religious significance; taking pictures of the people, landscape and architecture in these locations. Through this I am attempting to capture the atmospheres they generate. It is a personal journey of self-discovery, adventure and something like a pilgrimage.

Portraiture constitutes a significant portion of my work; taking photographs of the individuals I encounter is an essential aspect of my craft.

The documentation of the environment that shapes the lives of inhabitants in these regions is of paramount importance. My deep-seated passion for the natural world is immense, and I consider the chance to capture its essence through photography a treasured privilege.

Architecture

The architecture encountered while traveling is often intrinsically connected to the environment, reflecting the conditions faced by the indigenous people. It forms an important backdrop for the portraits I create of the locals.

Videography is a new venture for me, yet I find the challenge of capturing my travels quite enjoyable. Taking still photos is one aspect, but recording videos of my adventures adds a richer dimension to my travelogue.

I have a flare for both lighting and composure; capturing intuitively these scenes is part of my make-up. I have been at photography for most of my life.

The world can be a formidable place and to be ready for every eventuality is of vital importance – the more i travel the more comfortable i feel as a world citizen.

Equipment

I attempt to take with me when i travel, all the equipment i will need to succeed; this includes lighting equipment. – Plus I have a range of cameras including my Canon 5D iv & a 5D RS I also have a range of professional L-series Lenses.

In terms of Videography – i like everything Ultra HD or 4K as it is better known – I have a number of GoPro action cameras and of course my trusty Gimbal

I believe i have a unique vision for capturing the culture, spirituality, religion, environments and the people, of the places i go to visit.

How much is P&P
I charge a flat rate as much as i can across the areas I provide goods to - so if your in the US anywhere it will be the same price.
If i am not totally satisfied - can i get my money back?
I have a returns policy based on the return of the original item in perfect condition!!
